Inverell Shire Council will undertake realignment, and pavement works on the Yetman Rd, north of Graman.
Due to the length of the road to be reconstructed, the project will be divided into two stages with the total length of the project approximately 5.2 kilometres.
The first stage has been funded in this year’s budget after Council allocated funds from the Regional Emergency Road Repair Fund and unused monies from the Bundarra Rd realignment while the second stage funding will be known in May.
Inverell Shire Mayor Kate Dight says the works will be welcomed by those motorists who use the Yetman Rd.
