A Terry Hie Hie artist will have one of his masterpieces auctioned off at the Talmoi Picnic Races on Saturday.
Ian Reardon artwork Before the last at Talmoi, depicts the Talmoi saddling enclosure on race-day and captures the essence and heart of bush racing.
In an item on the Moree Online News, As a child, Mr Reardon was encouraged to paint by his maternal grandfather, and although he excelled at art, he didn’t pick up a brush and palette again until the late 1990s.
The Talmoi meeting, round three of bush racing’s Golden Triangle, has drawn 52 acceptances for the 6 race program including 10 horses and 3 emergencies for the 1400m Talmoi Cup.
