The Variety Postie Bike Dash makes its way to Inverell this evening as part of a more than 1300km trek across back roads, mountain ranges and country lanes across northern NSW.
The Dash is aiming to raise $375,000 for children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
The Dash which departed Tamworth last Sunday has made donations along the way, with almost $200,000 in grants delivered to public schools along the way with riders to travel to and stop over for breakfast at Gilgai Public School tomorrow morning to make donations to the school as part of Variety’s ongoing support for remote and regional schools.
Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT CEO, Tony Warner says the event will also inject more than $200,000 directly into regional tourism with six days of spending in local businesses.
Mr Warner says on arrival to Inverell, you won’t miss them.
