Inverell police station have welcomed five Student Police Officers for Field Placement, who currently doing their training at Goulbourn Police Academy.
Acting Inspector at Inverell Police station Tony Ehsman says Class 365 students embarked on Field Placement last week and will continue through to Thursday 12 December.
The students return to the Goulburn Police Academy after their field placement and will continue with studies, before commencing duties as a Probationary Constable later in 2025.
He says the students, both male and female, have been put through their paces and continuing to observe all facets of policing, acting as taste test to see whether they want to pursue this type of work.
