New England MP Barnaby Joyce has slammed organisers of student protests on Remembrance Day, labelling them as flees.
Students are planning to walk out of school and protest in cities across Australia on November 11 protesting against capitalism and Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party which has been organised by the High School Anti-Capitalists.
Mr Joyce says Armistice Day is a day to remember Australians who died serving their country, adding students who protest on that day are desecrating the memories of those who have served our country.
He fears the student protests may resemble the riots that have impacted France.
