Bureau Of Meteorology state some severe thunderstorms may impact some southeast QLD and northeast NSW over the coming days, bringing severe weather impacts to several communities.
These severe storms may bring heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding, large hail or damaging winds which may cause trees and branches to fall and damage vehicles and property.
Miriam Bradbury from the Bureau says communities in affected areas have already seen some activity in recent weeks and are being encouraged to be on alert for the potential of severe thunderstorms.
Ms Bradbury says the storm activity is being driven by a couple of low-level troughs in central Australia and one over QLD which is dragging down moisture and generating these unstable conditions
