Inverell police are investigating an alleged assault of an Inverell woman by three juveniles last Sunday week.
The incident occurred about 4:30pm on Byron Street with the victim sustaining minor injuries but did not require treatment.
Police are requesting any person who may have witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Investigations to date indicate the same offenders were involved in a rock throwing incident earlier that day along the Macintyre River on Campbell Street.
