Inverell trainer Todd Payne will aim his star gelding Lisztomania for October’s $2 million The Kosciuszko after its barnstorming win on Saturday at Rosehill.
Lisztomania came off heels in the straight to chase down the $1.60 favourite Grand Impact to claim a half-length victory.
Payne says Lisztomania will go back into the paddock and prepare for the 1200 metre The Kosciusko if they get a slot.
