The traditional start to the Sapphire City Festival is on tonight with the popular Inverell’s Got Talent at the Inverell Town Hall.
Paul Alliston from the Inverell East Rotary Club says they held auditions last week and have around 20 acts scheduled for this evening’s event from 7pm.
There’s a Junior and Open category with performers striving to get their share of the $2000 in prizemoney.
Mr Alliston says along with the acts, several other performances are lined up tonight including last year’s winner Hayley Phillips Lewis, Craze dance Academy, Chris Richter and daughter Jasmine Elisha, Peter Caddey and former winner Ashleigh Campbell.
Tickets are available at the Tourist Information Centre and thru the Trybooking website.
