One Nation & New England MP Barnaby Joyce was in Inverell on Saturday to be part of a community engagement meeting to discuss the concerns of the region and the country.
Mr Joyce talked on topics including the energy crisis, cost of living, immigration, gas policy and Australia becoming deindustrialised and manufacturing going overseas.
If One Nation cane to government Mr Joyce committed to abolishing the Climate Department, tear up the Paris agreement, limit migration and running the ruler over government waste including the NDIS, the Indigenous Affair Dept and returning to a coal fired power energy source that’s proven and works.
Around 80 people attended the event at Inverell Sporties with the public asking Mr Joyce about the health system, education and what’s been taught as well as the recent student protests against One Nation leader Pauline Hanson with Mr Joyce stating education should be about teaching students how to think not what to think.
