2024 Australia Day Award nominations are now open for Gwydir shire residents to nominate someone or something in 5 categories.
The categories include Junior Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Event of the Year and Junior/Senior Environmental Champion.
Nominations are to be submitted to Warialda Rotary Club, PO Box 17, Warialda NSW 2402 by Monday 23rd December
Meantime Inverell Shire Council have also advised nominations have also opened for anyone to be recognized for their dedication to the community.
Nominations are open for the Citizen and young Citizen of the year awards with forms available at the Council Admin Building in Otho St, Visitor Information Centre and Shire library in Campbell street and on Councils website.
Nominations close next Friday 15th November at 4:30pm.
