The Moree Bulls have avenged last year’s grand Final loss to win the 2026 Central North Rugby Premierships after toppling the Quirindi Lions 38-31 in Saturday’s Grand Final.
The Bulls came out breathing fire dominating the first half to lead at the main break 21-5 and then had to withstand a 2nd half Lions comeback and a last gasp surge by the Lions on the Bulls tryline at full time to claim victory.
In Reserve grade, the Narrabri Blue Boars held on to beat Moree 27-24, Pirates are the premiers in the Women’s competition after they defeated Narrabri 28-24, and finally Moree claimed the 3rd Grade title after they beat Pirates 36-10
