The Inverell Community Violence Prevention Team is inviting the community to join them for the Annual Street March Against Violence & 16 Days of Activism Activities later this month.
Community members will gather in Victoria Park on Vivian St at 11:45am for a 12 noon departure on Monday 25th of November which will launch the beginning of a calendar of events put together by the prevention Team to mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
The march will be followed by food and information stalls in Victoria park.
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that runs from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.
