Inverell SES unit were called into action on Sunday evening to locate a couple who had engine trouble on Pindari Dam.
The Unit responded, along with the assistance of the Ashford SES, and found the vessel in a cove at the eastern end of the dam at about 2am yesterday
According to the SES, the couple were woken up and pleasantly surprised to see assistance, as they didn’t expect anyone before daylight.
The vessel was secured and towed back to the ramp, with all teams off the dam and heading home by 3am.
