Christmas came a little early for the Inverell SES Unit after taking delivery of their new boat addition earlier this week
The Unit welcomed a brand new 5m Yamba bow-loader punt on Monday morning which is part of the fleet replacement program replacing some of the aging boats the unit has with some around 20 years old.
Troy Hill from the Inverell SES unit says this is a welcome addition to their unit as it helps to give them more flexibility when they are active adding its drop nose can assist in loading and unloading of patient transport, food drops for people and livestock and helping other organisations such as the fire services if they need remote access on the dam when they have fires
Mr Hill says they’ll hopeful to see the next new boats arriving early in the new year.
