Inverell Shire Council have been successful in receiving grant funding through the Local Small Commitments Allocation Program for the construction of a skate park in Delungra.
$88,000 has been allocated by the state government for the skate park to be constructed in Anzac Park, an aspiration from the Delungra community which had identified the need for an upgrade to park and playground facilities.
Council state the funding approval is contingent upon the execution of a deed of funding agreement between Council and the Premier’s Department.
Once the deed is executed, Council will then be able to provide details relating to construction time frames and completion dates.
