The Inverell community have once again displayed their big hearts by supporting STA FM’s Radio Thon for the Melanoma Institute on Saturday.
Over $6,200 was raised from the morning fundraiser with people donating over the phone or coming into the studios and making donations.
The monies raised will go to the Inverell March for Melanoma with local residents virtually walking from Inverell to Sydney and back this month.
STA FM Announcer and organiser of the RadioThon John Shaw says it was a remarkable result and thanked the community for their support of the fundraiser.
