Inverell F.C travel to Tamworth tomorrow to face arch-rival Moore Creek in the Northern Inland Premier League Preliminary Final with the winner to advance to next weekend’s Grand Final.
The reigning premiers will be without the services of Arkan Jarrullah who was handed a red card last weekend but will regain the services of Paul Leo who’ll be back and be the link-up player for their strikers.
Co-coach Warwick Readett says the performance last week to win playing with 10 players for the majority of the game showed how well they’re performing at the moment but will need to be at the best to advance to the Grand Final and a meeting with Oxley Vale Attunga.
Meantime, Inverell F.C’s Women’s teams are preparing to host the Armidale Women’s Grand Finals on Sunday at the Inverell Sports Complex
1st grade will face Armidale City Westside while Reserve Grade will play East Armidale with Readett saying both games are expected to be close affairs but if the ladies play like they do every week, they’re confident of coming away with the wins.
Matches kick of at 10:30 with the Club hoping to see a big crowd for Grand Final Day on Sunday.
