Zero Turn Mowers Recall

by | Dec 11, 2024 | Agriculture, Rural | 0 comments

A series of John Deere ZTrak zero turn mowers have been recalled due to an issue with the engine which may cause a possible fire hazard.

Model numbers Z720E, Z730M, Z740R and Z760R are the recalled mowers which were sold in green and yellow between February 2018 and September this year

The recall notice states the voltage regulator on some engines may fail, posing a fire hazard, even if the engine is off or not in use, which may cause serious injury or death and/or damage to property if the voltage regulator catches fire.

Consumers are asked to stop using the affected mower until it has been repaired, disconnect the negative battery cable, and contact their local authorised John Deere dealer to arrange a free repair.
