The Inverell Golf Club held the first round of their women’s championships last week.
Casey Trevithick is the championship leader after finishing with 86 off the stick while Catherine Lane leads the nett competition with nett 70.
The second round of the 3-round competition will be played this coming Wednesday.
The men played their Monthly Mug on Saturday with Mick Tanner claiming the win of the Monthly Mug for May with nett 67.
Grade winners were A Grade – Ben Davis, 69. B Grade – Ryan Kinnear 68, C Grade – Dick Hudson, 70, and D Grade – Mick Ticehurst, 76.
