Round 2 of the Group 19 Rugby League competition kicks off this evening when reigning premier Warialda Wombats host the Moree Boomerangs at the Rec Ground.
The Wombats are coming off a loss to the Tingha Tiger in round 1 and will be looking to get their title defence back on track against the Boomerangs who will play their first game of the year after their opening match against Narwan was postponed last week.
Meantime, it’ll be the battle of the Tigers when Tingha hit the road again to tackle Uralla in what should be a tough contest tomorrow which may prove to be a high scoring affair.
In other round 2 games, the Inverell Hawks travel to Walcha while Guyra plays its first match in several seasons when they host Narwan on Sunday at the Guyra Sporting complex
