Water meter readings across Uralla and Bundarra will commence today and to ensure an accurate and efficient reading, Uralla Shire Council is asking residents for their cooperation by helping them easily and safely access meters.
Residents are asked to clear the area around water meters including trimming overgrown vegetation, remove debris, and ensure it’s free from dirt or concrete, secure pets and keep gates unlocked during business to improve accessibility for meter readers.
Council advise if the meter cannot be accessed, a notice will be left explaining the reason and advising of a return date.
Continued access issues may result in an estimated meter reading and/or an additional fee charged.
