Tingha Tigers 1st grade Captain Brayden Vickery has called on Group 19 match officials to improve their adjudication of matches following last weekend’s game against the Glen Innes Magpies.
Vickery says players from both team were left frustrated by the refereeing with the game being called off around 10 minutes early after a fight broke out which he believes resulted from the refereeing.
The Tingha captain says Group 19 and NSW Rugby League will review the match and provide feedback to the Clubs and referees which he hopes will lead to more consistency.
After coaching the U11s northwest team at a state Cup recently, Vickery says the refereeing was of better quality there than what they get at Club level.
