Tingha amateur jockey Zara Lewis has had her best day in the saddle since turning to the picnic circuit 12 months ago.
At the Talmoi Picnics on Saturday, Lewis rode the first three winners including two for trainer Geoff O’Brien and one for Wayne Martyn.
Her day was topped off with a cash prize for the leading jockey on the day.
At Coffs Harbour, local trainer Todd Payne had success with SOBOOGO at just its third start for the stable.
