Tingha Tigers have had a strong hit out against the Grafton Ghosts at Bob Ward Oval on Saturday despite losing with only minutes left
Despite wet conditions, a good crowd was on hand to see both teams battle it out in the sluggish conditions with the visitors scoring a try in the corner late in the game to eventually win 4-0 .
Tigers captain Brayden Vickery says it was just the hit out they needed ahead of this weekends opening round match against reigning premiers Warialda Wombats.
The Reserve game went the way of Grafton 14-4 while in the very first women’s tackle match, Tingha scored a 14-10 victory.
