Community College Northern Inland Inverell student Tahnee Capon has been named a national finalist in Community Education Australia 2026 Student of the Year Awards.
The College says Tahnee’s determination, commitment to learning and personal achievements have made her a very deserving finalist and they’re incredibly proud to see someone from their Inverell campus representing them and the wider Community College Northern Inland community on the national stage
Earlier this year, Tahnee was selected as one of Adult Learning Australia’s 2026 Adult Learners Week Ambassadors, recognising her inspiring learning journey and commitment to supporting others in her community.
The national winner will be announced on 11 November at the Gala Dinner of Community Education Australia’s 2026 National Conference in Sydney.
