Square and Compass have survived a low scoring contest against Campbell and Freebairn in Round 6 of the Inverell cricket competition at Varley Oval on Saturday.
Jack Cole with 27 and an unbeaten 20 from Tony Blake were the main stays in Campbell and Freebairn Rebel’s total of 77 and in reply Staggy reached the target with 1 wicket to spare with Liam Spalding scoring 20 and Jai Tasker 19.

Meantime at McCosker 2, Staggy Creek overcame Delungra in a high scoring affair.
A century from Justin Smith and unbeaten 56 from James Bright in Delungra’s score of 228 was not enough to hold off Staggy Creek who reached the target with 8 wickets in hand.
Elijah Kenny and Nic Cumming, who both hit 87, guided Staggy to a comprehensive 8 wicket win,
Staggy Creek now have the outright lead in the competition.
