Inverell Scouts Hall has benefitted from recent grants to install new air conditioning at their Glen Innes Rd premises as well as a new BBQ trailer.
The local organisation received over $20,400 from the Inverell RSM Club through the NSW Clubs grant scheme last year which enabled the group to purchase and install a new air conditioning system in October and also received $2600 from the Sapphire Wind Farm Community Fund to purchase a new BBQ trailer.
Inverell Scouts Group leader Jon Cox says the new air con installation will enable all members of the community to enjoy the Inverell Scout Hall in a safe and comfortable atmosphere while the trailer will enable the group to provide community BBQ’s at local events and festivals.
Mr Cox thanked the local tradesmen for their timely and professional services during the project.
