Tingha’s boxing sensation Ricky Sandral will make his professional boxing debut in Cairns tonight when he tackles accomplished fighter Thomas Warria on the No Limit Boxing card.
Tonight’s bout marks the end of Ricky’s career as an amateur boxer in the Heavy and Superheavy Weight divisions, claiming 31 wins from his 34 fights.
Some of the Lumberjacks achievement include winning the world boxing association commonwealth title in Scotland, a silver medal at the Asian Pacific titles in Tahiti, being an Australian superheavy weight champion in three different amateur affiliations and is a recipient of the Australian boxing council national medal.
This fight will be his first pro fight in a journey that has taken three years to get to this point after signing with TGW and Smithy’s promotions in March, adding his match up against Warria will be a tough one.
The bout will be shown tonight on Channel 507 on Fox Sports and Kayo.
