Returning Face to Deputy Position at IHS

by | Dec 18, 2024 | Education, Community | 0 comments

Inverell High School will see a returning face to an executive position which will aid the school’s Inclusion and Support unit.

Karina Hutchings, who was previously with Inverell High School before taking on a position at the Department of Education and working out of Moree Secondary College, has returned to the school to take on the role of Deputy Principal Inclusion and Support.

This strategic, non-teaching leadership role focuses on promoting an inclusive school culture by enhancing learning, wellbeing, and independence for students with disabilities, where Mrs Hutchings will work closely with staff, students, and families to lead improvements in student outcomes and drive high expectations across the school.

Inverell High Principal Wayne Fouke says he’s excited to see a familiar face back to the school.
