The redeveloped Inverell Aquatic Centre hit a milestone in March having over 10,000 visitors pass through the gates at the facility.
Inverell Shire Mayor Kate Dight says the Centre has been ‘absolutely pumping’ since it’s soft opening in late February.
Council and pool managers Belgravia Leisure offered free entry to the Aquatic Centre on every weekend up until Easter with the community making the most of the opportunity to enjoy the facility.
Mayor Dight says the patron figures are on track for what was budgeted for and hopes the trend continues into the cooler months.
