Polaris Sales suppliers have updated their recall notice from December for 2024-2025 Polaris Ranger XD 1500 and Crew XD 1500 side by side vehicles.
The recall is due to the exterior door handle actuators on some vehicles may stick and cause the door to unexpectedly open while the vehicle is moving.
There is a risk of serious injury or death or property damage if the door opens while the vehicle is in use.
Consumers are advised to stop using the vehicle and not to attempt to repairs themselves as repairs must only be done by an authorised Polaris dealer.
They’re asked to contact an authorised Polaris dealer to arrange a free repair.
