New England police are calling for dashcam and/or mobile phone footage following a single vehicle accident near Bundarra on Monday evening.
About 6pm, emergency services were called to Thunderbolts Way, to find a Ford utility had rolled off the roadway.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver – a man in his 20s – and supported by the NSW Rural Fire Service, the man was assisted from the vehicle.
He was taken by helicopter to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition for treatment of limb, and chest injuries.
Police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
