Man Remains Behind Bars After Stabbing Incidents in Uralla

A 33-year-old man has been refused bail after appearing at Armidale Local court on Monday following separate stabbing incidents in Uralla and Kentucky on Sunday

The man is charged after he allegedly assaulted and stabbed two women aged 33 and 22 and threatened a 23-year-old man with a knife.

The man was arrested allegedly hiding in a children’s cubby house at an East St address in Uralla and during the arrest, police also located and seized a knife from the cubby house and a Holden sedan, used during the incidents, parked nearby.

He was charged with specially aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-wound, armed with intent to commit indictable offence, attempt stalk/intimidate intend fear of harm, reckless wounding, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was refused bail to appear at Armidale Local Court on the 23rd of July.
