Officers attached to Inverell Sectors conducted an operation in the townships of Warialda, Ashford, Yetman, Tingha, Bundarra, Delungra and Bingara last Friday and Saturday.
Seven officers were deployed, focusing on New England PD priorities, and engagement with remote and rural communities within Inverell sector areas.
Inspector with Inverell Police Blake Keating says the operation resulted in approximately 50 interactions, Random Breath Testing in rural/remote areas, and the arrest of a man on Limestone Road, Ashford for breaching bail and possession of prohibited drugs on Friday.
The man will appear in Inverell Local Court at a later date.
