The NSW Local Government Annual Conference kicks off on Sunday at Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre.
The Annual Conference is the supreme policy-making body of Local Government NSW and an opportunity for councillors to come together to share ideas and debate issues that shape the way the organisation is governed and advocates on behalf of the local government sector.
The conference is also an opportunity for mayors and councillors from right across NSW to learn from and support each other and consider new ways to deliver for the communities they represent.
Addressing more than 900 delegates will be guests including Federal Minister for Regional Development, Local Government and Territories Kristy McBain, Minister for Local Government Ron Hoenig, Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Jenny Aitchison, and Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson
