Inverell Basketball Association’s U14s girls’ team have finished runners up in the Division 2 competition at the inaugural Coffs Classic.
The Coffs Harbour Red team, who had made light work of Inverell in the round game with a big 63-10 win, came through with a 37-7 victory in the Grand Final.
Coach Justin Pay says the girls managed two wins over the weekend defeating Lismore 27-25 and Coffs Harbour Yellow 26-19
Mr Pay says the Inverell girls did themselves proud and was impressed with their skill level.
