Inverell Highlanders Sponsors Night and Season launch, held at the Inverell RSM on Saturday night, has been hailed an outstanding success.
Honorary Club Secretary John Hodgens says the generosity of this community is nothing but spectacular with the Club managing to raise nearly $100,000.
Mr Hodgens says guest speaker, former cricketer Greg Ritchie had the audience laughing most of the night while their MC Peter Caddey kept the night on track.
After such a successful evening, Mr Hodgens says it’s now up to the club and its players, both male and female, to win the Central North Rugby Union grand final in Inverell this year to show their appreciation to the loyal sponsors as a big thank you for their support.
