Inverell High School has taken out their annual Clontarf Academy Touch Football Carnival defeating Singleton in the final yesterday at the Sports Complex.
After playing 5 rounds, and a semi-final, Inverell High school advanced to the final and a meeting with Singleton in which they defeated the visitors 4-1
Inverell High School’s Clontarf Director Linden McGrady says it was a great win for the school adding the carnival, as a whole, was probably the best one yet, played in great spirit throughout the day.
A total of 130 students and their supervising staff from 10 Clontarf Academies from across the state, travelled as far as the Central Coast and Newcastle to play in the annual carnival
