The Inverell Breast Cancer Support Group’s Charity Golf Day held yesterday in Inverell has been another overwhelming success.
A full field of 144 golfers, dressed in various Pink themed costumes, came and showed not only their golfing skills but their huge community spirit to raise funds for the Inverell Breast cancer Support Group.
Organiser Ben Davis says they exceeded expectations in their fundraising efforts, raising a mammoth $29,546.24 from raffles, an online auction and various fundraising activities held yesterday.
The winners of the golf day were the four-person team of Corey Borthwick, Justin Pay, Luke Selig and Russell Brien.
