Glen Innes Severn Council are reminding residents that applications are still open for the Australian government’s Rural Roadside Sign Project.
Residents living within a speed zone of 80km/h or higher can apply for their rural roadside sign at a subsidised cost of $110 (including GST) with installation of the signs to be carried out by council staff, commencing in February next year.
These signs are designed to be highly visible, especially at night, ensuring that emergency services, carriers, and delivery drivers can quickly and accurately locate properties.
Applications need to be submitted by 12th December and can be lodged via email council@gisc.nsw.gov.au, by mail to PO Box 61, Glen Innes 2370 or in person at Council’s Church St office
