Local trainer Todd Payne had some Sydney success with his runner Lisztomania on Saturday in the TAB Highway.
The $5.50 favourite, ridden by the world’s best jockey James McDonald, stormed down the middle of the straight to edge out Exit Fee.
The win broke a 733-day drought in winning for the 6-year-old chestnut.
Payne just missed claiming the Walcha Cup on Friday with Shamedy, just being edged out by the $41 pop Casirina on the line.
Meantime, Ridge Wilson continued the winning form of local trainers with Electric Evie leading all the way to claim the Class 1 at Walcha on Friday.
