An Armidale magistrate has warned a young driver that she will never drive again if she is caught with drugs in her system while driving.
The Northern Daily Leader reports 22 year old Montana Adams, who had been previously caught for the same offence, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle with an illicit drug in her blood and driving without a licence after being stopped during a random breath test last November on the New England Hwy at Kentucky.
Adams was fined $250 for driving under the influence of an illicit drug and disqualified from driving for 12 months and was also fined a further $150 for driving without a licence.
In sentencing, Armidale magistrate Mark Richardson told Ms Adams that if she was to get behind the wheel with drugs in her system, she would never drive again.
