Inverell Shire Council will continue with their phone survey this week and move to an online survey from today as they attempt to gather input from the community.
The purpose of the survey is to gain valuable information direct from the community to assist the newly elected Council in reviewing the Community Strategic Plan and to contribute to forming the strategic direction of Councils Delivery Program over this 4 year term.
Peter Caddey from Inverell Shire Council says residents who are unable to participate online independently, will have the opportunity to call into the Inverell Shire Library or Inverell Administration Centre, where a member of Council staff can assist.
Inverell Shire Mayor Cr Kate Dight says it’s a wonderful opportunity to listen directly to the community to ascertain their aspirations and needs adding its invaluable to Councillors as they look towards setting their direction to deliver the best outcomes for the community.
