The Bushfire Danger Period has been extended across the Namoi Gwydir region, including the Gwydir and Moree Local Government Areas, until 13th April.
Residents and landowners in these areas are urged to take extra precautions and stay informed on fire safety measures.
Residents are asked to ensure their property is prepared and follow all local guidelines to reduce fire risks.
The Bushfire Danger Period is expected to conclude for other regions of the state on the Monday 31st of March.
