Gwydir Shire Council are reminding Bingara residents of a road closure taking place this Saturday in aid of the Bingara Christmas Concert.
Council successfully secured funding through the Vibrant Streets Program for the concert, the grant being a NSW Government initiative with part of the guidelines requiring a road closure to be in place for the duration of the event in order to receive the funding.
From 7pm to 10.30pm this Saturday 30th November, part of Heber St in Bingara will be closed in order to meet the guidelines of the program.
The Vibrant Streets program allows council the financial freedom to support the community event, with more information available by contacting Gwydir Shire Council on 6724 2000 or by visiting Council’s Facebook page.
