Gwydir Shire Council’s new Bingara Administration Hub received a Queensland Design Award on Saturday night at an awards dinner in Brisbane.
Struxi Design, the team behind the design of the new Bingara Administration Hub, was announced as the winner of “New Commercial Building Over $5 Million” for the new Administration Hub.
The award recognised the incredible work, dedication and countless hours that went into planning and designing this outstanding building.
Gwydir Shire Mayor Tiffany Galvin, Council’s Building Services Manager, Colin Cuel, who coordinated the project, and Chief Financial Officer, Helen Thomas, attended the night.
Mayor Galvin says this award is a wonderful achievement and a moment of great pride for Gwydir Shire as it recognises not only the design of the building but also the vision, commitment and teamwork of everyone involved in delivering a facility that the community can be proud of.
