Fire & Rescue NSW are on a recruitment drive for more on-call firefighters at the Bingara Fire station and will be holding an information session this evening.
Fire and Rescue NSW state firefighting involves day, night and weekend work, and can be physically, mentally and emotionally demanding but new firefighters would be provided with resources to support their health, safety and wellbeing.
Applicants must hold a current NSW driver’s licence, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency in Australia, live close to the fire station and have daytime availability to respond to emergencies
The Information session will be held at the Roxy theatre this evening from 6 o’clock
