The occupants of a house in Ring St have been quick to extinguish a kitchen fire last night.
Fire & Rescue NSW crews were called to the premises at around 7pm but were not required to extinguish the fire.
Crews managed to ventilate the house whilst at the scene.
A spokesperson for Fire & Rescue Inverell says the fire is believed to have been started after a child turned on an element on a stove which then caught fire to an air fryer that was on top of the stove.
No persons were injured during the time of the fire.
