Polaris Australia have recalled a popular side-by-side vehicle due to safety concerns.
Polaris has determined that on some 2023-2024 RANGER XP Kinetic vehicles, cracks on part of the charging system may develop which could allow water to contact live parts of the high voltage charging system and cause a short circuit while the vehicle is being charged.
The vehicles were sold nationally between 30th November 2023 and the 14th of March this year
The recall notice states there is a risk of serious injury or death from fire if a short circuit occurs while the vehicle is charging.
Polaris asks customers to stop using the vehicles immediately and will advise them when a repair is available when they manage to develop a fix.
